Elías Charua García is a founding partner of Arias & Charua Abogados, S.C., specializing in Regulatory Compliance, Contracts, Health Law, Advertising, Personal Data, Administrative Law and co-leading the areas of Intellectual Property, Entertainment Law, Pharmaceutical and Dispute Resolution. Mr. Charua has actively represented companies in Mexico, the United States, Latin America, and Europe.

Mr. Charua is a graduate of Universidad Iberoamericana, where he received his law degree in 2014. He acquired his master's degree in Oral Trial at the Centro de Estudios Jurídicos Carbonell in 2019. 

Mr. Charua has represented major companies before Mexican authorities at the federal, state and municipal levels for the protection of rights in Intellectual Property, Licensing and Franchising, Entertainment Law, and Administrative Law, including all types of claims and actions before the corresponding authorities.

He has represented national and foreign companies, as well as individuals in the implementation of all types of consulting and litigation for the protection of intellectual property rights before the Attorney General's Office in connection with the unauthorized use of such rights.

He has also represented different companies at international and national level in obtaining registrations, concessions, licenses and permits before the Ministry of Health and the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks, as well as litigation proceedings before such authorities.

Elías Charua has represented companies related to the registration and protection of all types of intellectual property rights and the negotiation of technology transfer and technical assistance agreements, drafting and negotiation of licensing and franchise agreements including administrative and judicial litigation proceedings related to the infringement of intellectual property rights in Mexico and the United States, Canada, Latin America and Europe. He has also provided support with the transfer of intellectual property related to corporate transactions, including trademarks, commercial notices, patents, copyrights and appellations of origin.
